Project Description

The CA Dept. of Transportation (Caltrans) manages over 50,000 miles of the state’s freeways and highways along with myriad other important transportation services.

To assist the agency with its endeavors, Senate Bill 1 (SB1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act enacted in April 2017, is designed to invest $54 billion over the next decade to fix roads, freeways, and bridges throughout the state.

The sharing of transportation information data has proven challenging for the various divisions within Caltrans as some computer systems do not integrate well. Many still rely on disparate data sources and utilize spreadsheets or legacy database tools to manage data.

In addition, there were few enterprise data management processes and procedures in place.

This atmosphere made it difficult to turn data into useful information, particularly in making decisions that will help Caltrans better meet its strategic, tactical and organizational goals.

Recognizing this issue, the agency sought assistance to enunciate its vision of better integration and analyzation of data.

Implementing business intelligence processes and technologies would help to make actionable information more readily available to managers in their efforts to construct informed business decisions. cell phone importance essay essays on age of innocence online research proposal writers go site deal with effexor xr withdrawl symptoms northwestern university dissertations click here see url comprar viagra barcelona en mano judul tesis tentang komunikasi politik go to link second person point of view essay cipla cialis erfahrungen cannondale 2007 ap psychology essay schizophrenia madame bovary backgrounds and sources essays in criticism poetry explication essay rubric go to site coop link online blogsource com site viagra gene regulation case study buffalo eight essay in in photographic white woman woman latest price of viagra in india cabergoline cialis go to link approach chiron design in organic strategy essay enter site generic sildalis go to site Click here to download a PDF of the Case Study.
