Project Description
The Appliance Efficiency Program at California Energy Commission (CEC) relies heavily on a database system for its operation. The existing version of the database was designed in 1999 and did not efficiently accommodate over 12 years of growth. In order for the CEC to keep up with its current responsibilities for processing and publishing certified appliance data and continue pursuing new appliance efficiency opportunities, they needed a modern database to meet the scope of today’s program.
