Project Description
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) embarked on a number of IT projects necessary to raise the level of health care provided to patient-inmates to constitutional standards. Despite those efforts, CCHCS’s legacy system had many limitations, and could have kept the department from meeting their current goals. The new Dental Scheduling Tracking System (DSTS) solution reaches across 35 facilities and enables the State’s Correctional facilities to reach their objectives and improve the dental health care of California State inmates.
